3) What Happens After We Receive a Valid Notice

After receiving a valid DMCA notice, we may:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material

  • Notify the affected user (if applicable)

  • Take additional actions we believe are appropriate under the law

We may request additional information if your notice is incomplete.


4) Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature

  2. Identification of the removed material and the location where it appeared before removal

  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification

  4. Your name, address, phone number, and email

  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. federal court (typically where you live, or where the service provider is located), and that you will accept service of process from the party who submitted the original DMCA notice

5) Repeat Infringers

We may terminate access for users who are repeat infringers, as appropriate and at our discretion, consistent with applicable law.
